About the Artist

Painting colorful, textured, loose, nuanced landscapes rooted in joy, memory, and the quiet wisdom of nature.

Kajal Zaveri

Manhattan, NY

I am a New York artist, and until recently a San Francisco based artist. My art comes from a happy and a positive place and reflects the calm and clarity I find in nature. I paint in a loose, semi-abstract style, where shapes blur and colors breathe, echoing the way nature speaks to me: gently, endlessly, and always anew. My work is rooted in the natural world, not just for its beauty, but for the quiet truths it offers: the promise of new beginnings, the strength in stillness, the wisdom in change.

Through layers of color, shifting forms, and intuitive brushwork, I don’t try to capture a landscape exactly but rather the way it feels to stand in it. A breeze through trees. The hush of dawn. The weightlessness of sky. The expanse of the ocean. In the middle of our rushed lives, I hope my work offers a quiet moment, a breath, and the reminder that nature is always present. I invite viewers to engage with the work on an emotional level, finding their own connections and interpretations within the interplay of color, form, and movement and offer them a sense of connection, and the quiet joy of being present, a place where they can pause, feel, and reconnect with the rhythm of something greater.

My work has been sold all over the world . Williams Sonoma Home carried and sold a lot of my artwork for many years when they carried original art. I am featured in Elle Décor Magazine, Times Square Billboards, PopSugar magazine, Shoutout SoCal, SD Voyager, Bold Journey Magazine, etc., among others, and my work has been sold to various collectors both in the USA and internationally.
